Deuter Futura Pro 42
Deuter Futura Pro 42 – Everything has its place.
Tons of outer pockets on a backpack is sooo last year. The problem is, lots of backpackers love their pockets. For those of obsessive compulsive types who must keep their pack nice and tidy, the Deuter Futura Pro 42 is here to help. At first glance, the Deuter Futura Pro 42 may just look like your run of the mill overnight pack, but upon further inspection you will find there is a spot for just about everything.
The Deuter Futura Pro 42 is filled with so many features and pockets that one might have to go buy more stuff just to fill up all the pockets. This weekend pack really has a pocket for just about everything. For example, on the bottom of the pack you will find a special area designed for you food to help keep it spate from your clothes and the rest of your gear.
But, the food compartment isn’t all that the Deuter Futura Pro 42 has to offer. You will also find a built in rain hood, two huge mesh pockets on the side, as well as two long quick access pockets on each side. And for all that other stuff that can’t find its way into a pocket, there is the attached bungee loops.

OCD jokes aside, the Deuter Futura Pro 42 is a pretty sweet overnight pack. It certainly has enough room for the gear and I’m sure the massive amounts of pockets help. The only really down side to the Deuter Futura Pro 42 is that the shoulder straps don’t offer much in the way of adjustments for really tall or short torsos.
