Columbia Cascadian Gorge

Columbia Boots
Columbia Cascadian Gorge – Affordable winter boots.

Its easy to spend a lot of money on a good pair of winter boots. Lucky for you, the Columbia Cascadian Gorge doesn’t. Coming in at under $90, the Columbia Cascadian Gorge is a steal of deal. Don’t let the price mislead you, this is quality Columbia Sportswear.

The Columbia Cascadian Gorge winter boots are great for outside chores in the cold, snow, and wet. With features like a one piece molded outsole, insulated inside, and water-resistant upper make the Columbia Cascadian Gorge a stellar winter boot.

Some quick tech specs:

  • Water-resistant split suede leather upper
  • Seam-sealed construction
  • 600g Thermolite. Rated -65F/-54C
  • ThermaShield™ frost plug
  • One-piece injection molded TPR outsole

One thing I like about the Columbia Cascadian Gorge is that the one piece injection molded outsole isn’t as stiff as some other winter boots. I hate boots that don’t bend well at the toe and make you feel like you are wearing cement blocks for shoes.

The water resistant upper on the Columbia Cascadian Gorge is also nice. I have worn them soaking wet and not felt it through the insulation. They take a while to dry, but who cares since you can’t feel it even when its wet.

I wouldn’t recommend the Columbia Cascadian Gorge winter boots for extreme conditions or long treks, but for doing outside chores or around town, they are a perfect choice.
