Patagonia Personal Flotation Device (PFD) Recall
Patagonia, manufacturer of outdoor apparel and gear, voluntarily recalled 2 versions of their Mildwater PFD. Patagonia claims “to date there are no reports of accidents or injuries related to the products.”
Here are pictures of the affected products, and below you will find more information on identifying them from the label, and how to get a refund or replacement.
Name of Product: Mildwater PFD, style number L1085. (Also sold as “Fishing PFD” style number 82770 and “Patagonia Fishing Vest” style number L1155)
Identification: The manufacturing lots involved are: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2046, 2047, 2048, 21409, 2164, 2216, 2217, 2218, 2288, 2289, 2290, 2291, 2292, 2496, 2497, 2498, 2499, 6061, 6062, 6063, 6064, 6068, 61201, 61434, 61435, 61436, 6169, 61690, 61691, 6170, 6171, 6172, 6168. The lot number can be found on the label as pictured below and is either the last four or last five digits in the larger lot number. Compare these four or five digits with the list of numbers given above. In the case of a match, return the PFD to Lotus Designs, Inc. as directed below.
To avoid possible safety hazard: PLEASE RETURN THESE VESTS for a FULL REFUND or for replacement with a comparable product.
