Marmot Swallow 2P Tent – Extremely adaptable two person tent.
Many four season tents are built to offer supreme protection from the elements. This is great if you’re camping in nasty conditions on a on daily basis, but what about when your not? What if you decided to go backpacking somewhere nice, or the sun comes out for a few days? With most four season tents you would be stuck with a weatherproof shelter, but with the Marmot Swallow 2P Tent you can easily covert the tent to adjust to your needs.
The Marmot Swallow 2P Tent has a huge front door that can be unzipped, letting you use the tent as a shade shelter on nice days. This huge front door also offers the ability to be converted into two smaller doors should you so desire. On less weather friendly days, the door is protected by the tents large vestibule that can be converted into an awning of sorts so you can still enjoy the view. When the weather really gets bad, simply secure the vestibule for complete weather protection.
Inside the tent you’ll also find a number of design features that make the Marmot Swallow 2P Tent even more adaptable. There is a rear door that allows you to exit the tent with out disturbing your tent mate. The zippered ceiling and door panels also allow to create a wide range of customization inside the tent.

I really like the whole idea of the Marmot Swallow 2P Tent. To me, the Marmot Swallow 2P Tent is the perfect tent for people who want the features of a four person tent, but wont always being using it in the most extreme conditions. The Marmot Swallow 2P Tent really is one of the first four season tents I have seen that can be used comfortably in all four seasons.
