The FLIGHTboot snowshoe system from Kahtoola looks killer!

The FLIGHTboots will work by themselves as outer boots to offer “unsurpassed warmth, comfort, and support” or as part of a system that lets you click in (kind of like step-in snowboard bindings) without straps to their FLIGHTdeck snowshoes. The outers just zip over your sneakers or other shoes.

Both the boots and the snowshoes have stainless steel traction cleats, so don’t try to go walking around town with these.

This setup will set you back $334 MSRP but you’ll be the envy of all those other winter hikers.
