Eagle Creek Grand Voyage

Eagle Creek Grand Voyage – The biggest travel pack I could find.

With a capacity of 5600 cu. In., the Eagle Creek Grand Voyage is the biggest travel pack I could find. Because of its sheer size, there is plenty of room for all kinds of awesome features. The Eagle Creek Grand Voyage is the perfect pack for travelers who pack too much or those who simply need lots of room for gear.

At a quick glance, some of my favorite features about the Eagle Creek Grand Voyage were some of the smaller ones. My favorite is the shoulder straps/hip belt and their hide away compartment. The Eagle Creek Grand Voyage has an elaborate suspension system that easily rivals many backpacking packs. The straps have their own compartment that they can be zipped up into before checking your bags, keep them from getting damaged in transit.

Another cool little feature on the Eagle Creek Grand Voyage is the sleeping bag compartment. Now, I hardly ever take a backpack anywhere that doesn’t involve wild animals as bed mates, but there is a multi use to this sleeping bag compartment. The sleeping bag part of the Eagle Creek Grand Voyage is idea for sleeping bags, but because it is enclosed in it’s own separate space, it is a perfect spot for muddy boots and dirty close.

I really could go on and on about the Eagle Creek Grand Voyage, there are just that many fatures. About the only thing you wont find here are wheels.

But don’t take my word for it, check out these features:

• Fully-featured, internal-frame travel pack for the multi-modal, multi-destination, twenty-something traveler
• Zip/clip off daypack includes Safeguard Panel® to hide away important travel documents, passport and money where only the user can get to them
• Large main compartment with easy access front
• Dual purpose compression straps to secure and stabilize load and attach modular daypack
• Front zippered boarding pass pocket for travel documents or other quick access items
• Water is close at hand with side water pockets
• Zip-away Multi-Adjust Suspension fits torso lengths of 18–22″ and waist belt adjusts from 30–50″
• Lower seam-sealed external boot or sleeping bag compartment
• Reflective center strip for dusk or nighttime visibility

So, if you need to big bag it on your next trip, or have a girlfriend who just packs way too much, the Eagle Creek Grand Voyage might be what you are looking for. Just be careful because once she over packs, this bad boy is bound to be heavy and I’ll give you two guesses who ends up carrying it around…
