There are a ton of great backpack style camera bags on the market. Many of them are great for on location shoots and backcountry photography. Being that most photographers these days are digital, it surprises me that there aren’t more camera backpacks with a dedicated space for laptops. I really like the fact that the Crumpler Karachi Outpost Camera Pack sports a dedicated area for a laptop. But what I like even better, is the fact that it can hold up to a 17 inch MacBook. Its hard enough to find a good laptop case for a 17 inch laptop, let along a camera backpack! The laptop fits into a removable sleeve that has a variety of pockets built into it to keep all your laptop accessories in order.

Here you get a removable compartment that has everything you need for all of your camera gear. From padded movable sections to elastic straps, the camera bag has it all. The Crumpler Karachi Outpost Camera Pack is by far the best mobile office type camera backpack I have seen for digital photographers. It might be a little more than you want to spend on a camera backpack, but it is well worth the money spent.
