Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bag

Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bag – Award winning sleeping bag.

There have always been good three season sleeping bags, but there are few that are really outstanding. The Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bag is one of those outstanding bags. But, you don’t have to take my word for it. The Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bag won the editors choice in Backpackers Magazine. So, what is so impressive about this three season sleeping bag? You’ll just have to read more to find out.

One of the most impressive features of the Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bag is its packability size. In less than a minute, you can have this full sized, three season sleeping bag, stuffed into a stuff sack that is smaller than a football. If that isn’t a major selling point, I don’t know what is. Having a sleeping bag that small means more room in your pack and less wieght.

I know what you are thinking, cool, it can pack up small, but how warm can it really be? The Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bag can easily keep you warm to 15 degrees. But, because the Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bag is a mummy style bag, if you toss on a few extra layers when you crash for the night, you can stay toasty warm.

I have used one of these Marmot Helium +15 Sleeping Bags before and they are great. You don’t realize how much room a sleeping bag really takes up until you try one of these. With this bag, you could pack almost everything you need for a weekend hike into a daypack without any problems. The only drawback here is the price.
