Freestyle Audio’s Waterproof MP3 Player–a little 1 GB music player that you can take anywhere, even underwater.
Are you clumsy? Accident prone? Tend to break most expensive or even semi-expensive electronic gadgets you get your hands on? Welcome to the club. If you’re like me, you’ve washed your cell phone with your clothes (yes, it went through the whole cycle), you’ve smashed your ipod when you wiped out skiing, you’ve dropped your phone in the toilet and you’ve cursed when your digital camera landed smack dab in the middle of a giant puddle. Well, for all of us who tend to destroy our belongings, there is a solution with Freestyle Audio’s new Sport MP3 player. This tiny little MP3 player will not only hold up to 600 songs, it is super durable and is waterproof. In fact, this is the very first fully submersible MP3 player out there, and will continue to work up to 10 feet deep. That means if you jump in the water and forget this thing is still in the pocket of your board shorts (or just tend to sweat a lot), you’ll still be golden. In fact, you could even listen to music while hanging out in the pool or ocean if you’d like. Want to make snorkeling soundtrack for your trip to Hawaii? This device could actually allow you to dream of such a thing.
This tiny MP3 player is perfect for the active music fan. Have you ever had your screen freeze up when you’ve taken your ipod skiing on a particularly cold day? This MP3 player is also built to withstand the cold. You can drop this thing in the snow and take it to the top of a pass on a negative 10 degree day and this thing will still work. It is also compatible with both PCs and Macs and you can accessorize it with waterproof earbuds or an armstrap for workouts. This waterproof and shockproof MP3 player is designed for those with an active lifestyle (or who are just plain clumsy). It allows you take your music along for whatever wild ride you have planned, no matter what the activity, the intensity or destination. This device also won National Geographic Adventure Magazine’s “Best Adventure†gear award. You can kayak, ski, snowboard, fish, swim, bike, hike, or surf with this MP3 player. It also has a 30 hour battery life, is ultra lightweight and is shockproof for the wipeout on the slopes or when you just drop the thing.

This MP3 player is small and nearly indestructible, making it the perfect music player for any active lifestyle. I do wish that it held a little bit more music. In fact, I’d gladly sacrifice some weight (this thing is very lightweight) to be able to hold closer to 500 or 600 songs. They do have a 2GB version, which does hold more songs, but isn’t have nearly as sleek a design. But overall, this is a great little MP3 player that you can take along with you no matter what you are doing. I also love the idea of having a personal soundtrack for your life, which if is very active could need an indestructible MP3 player like this one. I love to listen to jams as I blast down fresh powder, so I especially like that this thing is not only shockproof, but will also withstand the cold a lot better than an ipod. For the adventurous or just plain clumsy, this is the perfect MP3 player.
