Therm-a-Rest Camp Seat Self-inflating cushion – Awesome for those long bus rides.
One piece of gear I always recommend for travelers is a Inflatable Therm-a-Rest pad. While the initial use is obvious, I also recommend it for another reason. They make for great seat cushions. If you have ever sat on a hard plastic bus seat for a 4 hour trip or the wooden bench of a boat, you can vouch for how much you wished for a cushion.
Needless to say, when I came across the Therm-a-Rest Camp Seat Self-inflating cushion I was pumped. I wonder how long this has been out? Why didn’t I know about it sooner!?
The Therm-a-Rest Camp Seat Self-inflating cushion is just what it sounds like. It is basically a super thick Therm-a-Rest pad that is about the size of a throw pillow. It measures to about 16×16x2 inches. The Therm-a-Rest Camp Seat Self-inflating cushion is extra thick, about the size of two normal Therm-a-Rest pads.
The Therm-a-Rest Camp Seat Self-inflating cushion is made is made up of premium quality foam and covered with a plush stretch fleece. The bottom side of the Therm-a-Rest Camp Seat Self-inflating cushion features a nonslip bottom to help keep you in your seat.
I think this is an awesome product and I recommend it to any type of traveler. Its small enough to be able to fit into your day pack and worth the room it takes up. This small piece of gear can be a Godsend when you are on the road.
