Outdoor Sports - Time to Focus on Winter

Outdoor sports are a big factor for me in choosing where to travel this winter. For those of you still trying to come up with your passport-stamp list of where to go, check out some of these handy outdoor sports travel locations:

• Utah’s Top Snowboarding Resorts
• Where to Ski & Snowboard 2007
• Best Ski Resorts in the U.S. 2006-07

If you’re not enthused about traveling with your outdoor sports gear, remember that snowboarding (and skiing) is just an excuse to travel.

Personally, I am not going to venture too far from home, mostly because I don’t have to. We’ve got Mt. Hood and Mt. Bachelor in our backyard, and it’s only a stone’s throw more to head up to Whistler in BC.
