It is big enough to carry all the essentials of a day hike, but small enough that you aren’t carrying around a half empty pack with you all day.
Don’t confuse the Osprey Daylite Accessory Pack with a hydration pack. While the Osprey Daylite Accessory Pack is about the same size as popular hydration packs, it doesn’t sport a bladder features. It does however, have two mesh pockets for water bottles on either side of the pack.The sole purpose of the Osprey Daylite Accessory Pack is just to give you a great all around daypack that is small in size, but built as tough as bigger multi-day packs.
The Osprey Daylite Accessory Pack comes filled with all the features you need and want in a dayback and none of the useless bells and whistles you don’t. For example; we already touched on the two water bottle pockets, but the Osprey Daylite Accessory Pack also sports a bungee strapping system on the outside of the bag. This is a great place to lash on layers, an extra pair of sandals, or other activity oriented gear.
