Mountain Hardwear Downtown Jacket

Mountain Hardwear Downtown JacketMountain Hardwear’s Downtown Jacket not only looks the biz, it’s bound to perform like it too. While companies like North Face and Columbia have offered new fashion lines of clothing, Mountain Hardwear will continue to bring you durable, quality outdoor clothing.

The Downtown Jacket is made with 650 fill down insulation to keep your torso nice and warm while the chamois-lined chin keeps your freshly shaved ex-goatee-sporting chin from falling off. And of course, no modern outdoor jacket is worth anything without the drawstring hem cords.

Are you the one person who’s always cold, even on those 80-degree summer days? The Downtown Jacket is made for you! To add one final touch to defrost your ice-like blood vessels, they’ve added the PimpChimp fleece lining to get an extra dose of warmth.

While form follows function at Mountain Hardwear, they’re not turning a blind eye. With a unique patterned quilted seams and groovy colors like avacado (pictured) it’s no wonder they’re a well known name by purists who value some fashion sense too.

Here’s where you can get one:
Mountain Hardwear’s Downtown Jacket @ BootsnAll Travel Gear Store – $144.95

When I first opened the box I was disappointed as the jacket looked very flat. After a few hours the jacket “inflated” and looked the way that I expected it to.

Pictures do not do this Jacket justice. If you want a down jacket thats not your standard horizontal down pattern, the downtown is for you.

It looks great and is super warm. Ive only had it for a few days, but I don’t anymore time. If the review needs updating, I’ll come back.
