Magellan Releases 3 New GPS Units

Magellan RoadMate 2200TMagellan, manufacturer of GPS Units, maps & accessories announced today the release of 3 new “CrossoverGPS” units. Belonging to the RoadMate 2000 series, the 2000, 2200T and 2500T are designed for navigation in a vehicle, both in the city and off the beaten path, and allow for handheld use on land and water.

RoadMate 2200T and 2500T have the ability to provide real-time traffic updates and are waterproof to IPX-4. IPX-4 standards require a device to withstand water sprayed from any angle at a volume of 10 liters/min at a pressure of 80-100kN/m2 for a time of 5 minutes.
