If you travel much, you might want to lose a few pounds. But not off your waistline. Instead, think about dropping a few pounds from your gear bag — the carry-on where you’ve stowed your laptop, cell phone, personal digital assistant (PDA), digital camera, MP3 player, GameBoy, portable DVD player and their assorted mess of power cords and changing cables.
