It is very well possible that the Eagle Creek Switchback Max 22 might be the most versatile piece of carry on luggage you have ever seen. This bad boy really does have it all. I have no doubt you have seen some pretty sweet carry on bags before. Maybe one that has backpack straps built into it? Or maybe one that has a whole detachable daypack built into it.

What if I told you that the Eagle Creek Switchback Max 22 had both of those features and then some? That’s right, this sucker has wheels, straps, handles, and more.

If you do a lot of short vacation travel and find yourself in the airport a lot, the Eagle Creek Switchback Max 22 might be the ultimate travel bag. If you are a light packer, then the Eagle Creek Switchback Max 22 is most certainly for you. The built in day pack is great for day trips and tours in your foreseen destination, but it is also great for on the plane. The daypack allows you to keep all your in flight essentials within arms reach under your seat.

I feel it is important to point out that the Eagle Creek Switchback Max 22 only works as a carry on bag if you have the daypack detached or empty. Otherwise you will have a pretty hard time trying to cram this guy into the overhead compartment. As you would expect, the Eagle Creek Switchback Max 22 has tough wheels and a telescoping arm. But for when the roads get tough, you can easily unzip the shoulder straps and carry it on your back.
