Clean out closets full of heavy gear
Getting out in the backcountry is supposed to be fun, and lighter gear makes that happen. And if it wears out in a few years, hallelujah. Then I’ll have a good reason to shop, instead of doing it simply because all those outdoor magazines keep coming at me with ads for the newer and the better.
