Cell-Phone-Charging Shoes

HipTechBlog reports that 19 year old Indian Pankaj Sharma has invented a shoe that can charge your cell phone while you’re walking.
There is a dynamo (esentially a small generator) located in the shoe, which, after some other electrical process modification, results in 5-6 volts of power to charge your electronics.
As most people have 2 feet, you can use the other one to charge your digital camera or iPod. However, be careful to not Jog or run, as these shoes may overcharge your connected device, and if the battery is anything like those used in Dell and Apple laptops, you may have a fire in your pants.
I propose inmates be shod with these shoes and we can all enjoy some free, natural power.

What about platform shoes with goldfish in them? You could cook dinner while you walk and charge your phone.
