Backpacking Across North America - Sea to Sea

I’ve been following this guys trip across North America off and on for the past few months. He managed to hike a network of trails that run from the Atlantic to the Pacific. He stuck with lightweight, good quality gear (you can find his gear lists here). Obviously, he restocked throughout his trip, but it is a good example of how to pack light and travel for an extended period. Check out how much his pack weight increased for winter clothes while remaining under 30 pounds. Much of his gear came from GoLite, which is a good choice for lightweight backpacking.
