All Terrain Cabin, by BARK

Not into the funky rounded shape of the KITAhaus pod? Prefer straight lines and square corners? Got more money than you know what to do with? Are brave enough to only buy Canadian made products?

If you said yes to any of these, here’s your other option: The All Terrain Cabin from BARK. It’s 100% Canadian from concept, design and materials, and housed in a standard shipping container. They don’t say which size container it is, but standard shipping container sizes are 20′ and 40′ and from the picture I’m guessing a 20′. This would make sense based on the quoted 480sf total living space.

Prices are probably extreme, considering it’s just a one-off model. But if you have the coin, I’m sure you can build one of your own. There aren’t too many more details at BARK’s web site, but you can see a list of contributors and a few more pictures.
